McDaniel Stadum was named to Memorialize a special man. Richard E. McDaniel. Mr McDaniel was so instrumental for the Design and Construction of the Stadium that the Senior Class of 1971; F.T. Wills High School (the former school of that Campus prior to Wills and Campbell Schools merger) petitioned the school administration to honor forever, as McDaniel Memorial Stadium.
